The Day Care Centre of our NGO is the BEAUTIFUL CREATION OF LUDHIANA MUNICIPAL CORPORATION who had earmarked the construction of our Day Care Centre in one corner of its piece of land measuring about 6000 sq. yds. —— now a beautiful green belt developed by our NGO. For the past 5 consecutive years, in the month of July every year, we have been planting saplings and trees in phases.
With this year ‘ s plantation drive by the members of our NGO, the entire land at our disposal has been converted into a complete green cover with all sorts of herbal and medicinal shrubs and trees. This time, the plants were sponsored by the renowned philanthropist industrialists of Ludhiana, S. Raminder Singh Arora, and Sh. Kapil Sharma, CEO, and MD of M/S Arora Iron & Steel Mills, Ludhiana. They, both together, along with their friends Sh. Ganesh Prabhakar, Sh Munish Mahajan of Mitra Fasteners, Sh. Munish Kalia of DMC Hospital, Mrs. Ruchi Kaur Bawa along with her Aas Ehsas NGO team members all joined the plantation process with their own hands.
A large number of our members along with their family members had come besides office bearers of several religious and social organizations of our area. For the first time, our team members had decided to invite families of our those members, who are no more with us and plant trees to mark our tributes to the departed souls. A special KAYARI ( BED ) was earmarked for plantation in memory of our beloved ones.
